Prunella vulgaris extract is the water or alcohol extract of the traditional Chinese medicine Prunella vulgaris fringe. The main active ingredients are triterpenes such as oleanolic acid. It has the functions of clearing liver and purging fire, clearing away heat and dissipating stagnation. Habitat distribution: Grows on wet lands such as grasslands and barren slopes with altitudes up to 3000m, streams and roadsides. Distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Southwest. It is widely distributed throughout Europe, North Africa, Siberia of the former Soviet Union, West Asia, India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan, and is also occasionally seen in Australia and North America.
